Two big bands, Blue Moon Big Band and Big Band Caliente, will play a double feature at the Carroll Arts Center on Saturday, May 21 at 3 pm. Blue Moon Big Band plays jazz standards from the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Big Band Caliente features Latin-infused numbers.

More than 50 young actors, singers and dancers will perform in the musical, “Tiny Thumbelina” at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 8 at 3 p.m.

The Carroll Arts Center’s fourth annual Peep Show is set for April 8 to 17. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorites by purchasing vote chips for $1 each, 10 for $5, 25 for $10, 75 for $25 or 200 for $50. Awards will be announced on Sunday, April 17. All proceeds will benefit the Carroll County Arts Council.
The show is sponsored by local orthodontist Dr. Edward M. Goldman and New Windsor State Bank with support from Just Born, the candies’ manufacturer in Bethlehem, PA. Admission to the event is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, except Sundays, April 10 and 17, when hours will be noon to 5 pm.
