“Enchanted April,” the Academy Award-winning 1992 film starring Joan Plowright and Miranda Richardson, will be screened at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, April 2 at 8 p.m.

Scheduled to coincide with the Arts Center’s annual Purse Auction, the romantic movie, set during post-World War I, centers around four women who rent a chateau on a remote Italian island to try coming to grips with their lives and relationships. It runs 95 minutes and is rated PG.

The Purse Auction is sponsored by Seniors Keep In Touch (SKIT). Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for Arts Council members, seniors 60 and over and students 18 under.
