“Walden: The Ballad of Thoreau”, a documentary reproducing a stage play about Henry David Thoreau’s last two days at Walden Pond, is the June offering of Film Lovers in Carroll County (FLICC). It will be screened at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m.

The film, which runs 60 minutes and is not rated, won the 2009 John Muir Film Award and the 2009 Aegis Film Award. The Maryland Sustainable Living Fair sponsors the screening.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for Arts Council members, seniors 60 and older and students 18 and under.
