The award-winning film, “The Messenger” is the choice of Film Lovers in Carroll County for screening at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m.
The story is about a returned war hero making his first steps toward a normal life. The 2009 film runs 112 minutes and is rated R. It stars Ben Foster, Woody Harrelson and Samantha Morton.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for Arts Council members, seniors 60 and over and students 18 and under.
