Carroll County Hackathon @ McDaniel College Hill Hall
Feb 22 – Feb 24 all-day

Hackathons are challenging and fun experiences where people learn how to design, build, and pitch an app in a weekend. These apps may change the world or maybe just change Carroll County.
Learning is at the heart of the Carroll County Hackathon. Teams are invited to take risks and step outside of their comfort zones. It’s okay to fail. We consider this Hackathon to be a beginner-level experience. Come ready to learn!
Great hackathon teams have people with diverse interests and experiences. All students with an interest in app development, graphic design, business, and/or marketing are encouraged to participate.

Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage @ LifePoint Church
Mar 1 @ 7:00 pm – Mar 2 @ 12:00 pm

The Marriage and Relationship Education Center is excited to announce our 2019 special event for couples – a two-part event featuring nationally-recognized marriage expert, Phil Gungor, of Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage.

Phil has a passion and a great desire to help couples thrive in their relationships and for making people laugh. Because, let’s be honest, a marriage seminar isn’t the first thing a guy thinks of when he thinks of a fun way to spend the weekend. We get that, and so does Phil Gungor. We know women are usually much more open to talking about relationships than their spouses, but this engaging and fun marriage event is designed with an element of humor that appeals to both parts of the couple, the man and the woman.

This two-part conference will take place on Friday, March 1, from 7 to 10 p.m., (Doors open at 6:15 p.m.) and Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon (Doors open at 8:15 a.m.)at LifePoint Church, 1701 Emory Road, Reisterstown, MD

Our EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION lasts until Sunday, February 3, 2019 with a cost of just $60 per couple. The price after February 3rd is $75 per couple.

Light refreshments and your materials are included.

Need a gift for the special couple in your life? Contact us for a gift certificate to the marriage conference – a gift that keeps on giving, all year long!
