Walk a Mile in Her Shoes @ Westminster City Park
Apr 13 @ 11:00 am

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is an opportunity for women, men and families to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes & effects of rape, sexual assault, and gender violence. Rape Crisis (RCIS) asks men and women to walk one mile in women’s shoes through downtown Westminster. NEW THIS YEAR – The walk will start and finish at Westminster City Park.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® is a play on the phrase, “You can’t understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes”. Through education and advocacy, RCIS hopes to get the community talking about a subject that is often difficult to discuss: gender relations and sexual violence.
