Shiloh Pottery Clay Classes for Kids @ Shiloh Pottery, Inc | | |

Shiloh Pottery offers clay and wood working classes for kids during the summer. During the mornings of July 9 to 13, the following clay classes are available.
9:00 AM to 10:30 AM: First Time Clay Artists
This class is for children, 1st grade or older, who have had little to no experience with clay. Children will be doing many exciting clay projects, such as coil pots, flower pots, log cabin birdhouses, creature sculptures, dishes, trivets, masks, slab pots, cups or bowls, wind chimes and/or piggy banks. Each child will get to “throw” on the potter’s wheel, with assistance, at least once during each class. Children who have taken this class once,
but would like to repeat it are encouraged to attend. There will be one make up class for missed classes.
11:00 AM to 12:30 PM: Been There, Done That, But Like to Do It Again
This class is for children who have taken at least one clay class at Shiloh Pottery. Focus will be on more advanced projects, building on skills from the First Time Clay Artist class.
