Billed as Carroll County’s largest community charity event, Fallfest attracted more than 40,000 people to downtown Westminster last year for a Main Street parade, midway fun, rides, food, unique shopping and entertainment. This year, the parade kicks off the five-day fair on Wednesday, September 24 at 7 p.m. Fallfest continues Thursday and Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Charities slated to benefit from Fallfest 2008 include Carroll Hospice, The Historical Society of Carroll County, Kiwanis Clubs of Westminster and Rape Crisis Intervention Services.
