Hundreds of people poured into Bart Walter’s studio on Md. 31 on Wednesday, Aug. 19, to view the revered sculptor’s latest creation, a 22-foot tall bucking bronco ridden by a cowboy. “Battle of Wills,” pays tribute to the Wyoming state logo, and it is Walter’s largest single piece. In June 2016, the bronzed work will be placed at Wyoming’s Jackson Hole Airport and the Grand Tetons will be its backdrop. – by Lisa Moody Breslin, photography by Kelly Heck
