What services does the Carroll County Visitor Center provide?
The Carroll County Visitor Center is staffed by a group of dedicated women who enthusiastically greet visitors who walk in or phone for information. In addition to welcoming out-of-town visitors, the staff also welcomes local citizens. The Center, located at the former Westminster City Hall, Emerald Hill, has information on local attractions, restaurants, hotels, B&Bs, outdoor activities, art and culture, history and local events.

The Carroll County Office of Tourism is responsible for operating the Visitor Center and for marketing the County as a destination for visitors. The County is marketed through our website, facebook, printed brochures, advertising and our annual Carroll County Visitor Guide. In addition, we market to different segments: group tours, business meetings, students, Civil War enthusiasts, individuals and families.

Stop by the Carroll County Visitor Center to learn more about things to do right here in your own backyard!
