Taneytown Heritage & Museum Association September Public Meeting

TH&MA general public meeting will be held Monday, September 25, 7:00 PM at Grace United Church of Christ, 49 W. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, Md.
Guest speaker, Harry Conover who will have a presentation about Carroll and Frederick County canneries of the past. He is originally from New Jersey. He was with Badger Food Machinery of Wisconsin for 20 years and sold canning machinery from the Southern States up thru Maine. He then became self-employed as a manufacturing representative for five major companies before retiring. He became interested in the local canning industry history and authored the book along with John Foertschbeck, Sr. – “Carroll and Frederick County Canneries.”
There will be a brief business meeting followed by the guest speaker and light refreshments after. Parking is in back of the church. The public is invited.
