What is your definition of success?
Dr. Rose Mince & Dr. Kristie Crumley: Our success is measured by our students’ success. Carroll County students come to us with a strong educational foundation and we help them as they strive to meet their higher education goals. At Carroll Community College, we have the privilege of helping people achieve their dreams. Providing education for Carroll County residents has a direct impact on our County’s economic success. The more educated our residents are, the better the outcomes are for the County, including higher wages and a better standard of living. Ninety percent of students who earn a degree at the College choose to live and work in Carroll County.
What do you enjoy most about working in Carroll County?
Ms. Libby Trostle and Ms. Janet Ladd: Carroll County is a collaborative community, where businesses, non-profit agencies, and local government work together for the overall success of the county and its citizens. In our roles, we work very closely with these organizations to meet our community’s workforce training and development needs. We are proud to prepare individuals and businesses for economic success through the College’s Advantage C services. We believe that when employees have the opportunity to grow, they are empowered, more fulfilled, and more resilient. Not only do employers benefit, the community as a whole thrives.
