For more than 16 years, Carroll Magazine has presented engaging features and timely articles that captures the essence of life in Carroll County, as well as maintaining the largest countywide distribution for a lifestyle publication.
How did the pandemic make you pivot your business?
Carroll Magazine was scheduled to publish our first Women in Business special section when the pandemic hit. Our April/May issue had just been sent to the printer when the country began to shut down. Luckily Carroll Magazine was able to stay on schedule and the issue arrived in readers mailboxes in early April.
Just like many businesses, we had to get creative to keep things going and keep our readers and advertisers happy! We developed new tools such as the New Movers Guide and the Carroll Business Quarterly, as well as other ways to keep our customers in front of their customers.
This pivot taught us that even in tough times, Carroll County is strong and resilient. Our residents witnessed first hand how local businesses support each other and work together to survive a challenging economic climate.
