Charter Radiology was founded by radiologist Arvinder “Daisy” Uppal, M.D., breaking through the impersonal style of old-school radiology centers to deliver a uniquely personal patient experience. Dr. Uppal’s mission is to combine the most compassionate care with the most advanced imaging technology available. Charter Radiology specializes in neuroradiology, orthopedics, cardiology, vascular, urologic, and women’s imaging including breast MRI.
How do you define success?
As a physician, I define success as delivering a five-star patient experience to each and every patient, every time. I dedicate so much of my time to offering not just the most advanced imaging capabilities and accurate diagnoses, but to providing one-on-one, personal care to every individual. Being able to sit with and help patients in their time of need is something I do not take lightly. I have a saying, “Excellence is a choice that we embrace, revere, and pursue.” I treat every patient like family and having the honor of caring for people is the truest form of success.
What are your top priorities?
It can certainly be difficult to balance all of the aspects of your life – being a successful physician, a woman in business, a mother, a wife, and a member of the community. So one of my main priorities is, of course, providing exceptional care to every patient who walks through Charter Radiology’s doors. While caring for patients takes up much of my days (and oftentimes nights and weekends!), my priorities are also spending as much time as I can with my family, focusing on my faith, my wellness, and the future growth of Charter Radiology.
