15th Anniversary Celebration Taneytown History Museum

Come out and help us celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Taneytown History Museum. Light refreshments and games for children. Tour the new exhibit of “World War II impacts Hometown”.

August 17

Master Gardeners Heirloom Tomato Festival

Learn about heirloom tomatoes, how to grow them and save their seeds; taste dozens of varieties of heirloom tomatoes; taste delicious homemade tomato dishes; collect tomato recipes; fun activities for kids; guess how many tomatoes in the jar and win a prize; and meet Miss Tomato.
8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Carroll County Farmers’ Market, 700 Agricultural Center Dr., Westminster.

August 18

Secret Garden Farewell Summer, Music, Arts & Wine Festival

Great people, delicious food, fantastic wines, amazing live reggae music and incredible arts and crafts vendors. Bring a chair/blanket.
Noon – 7 p.m. Carroll County Farm Museum, 500 S. Center St., Westminster.

August 24

Maryland Summerfest

If you love food, beer, wine, music and to make your children happy, then the Maryland SummerFest is the place for you! This event is for all ages. You can access great food, great live music and activities for the kids! Wine and beer for the adults, play area for the little ones and great music for everyone.
10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Carroll County Farm Museum, 500 S. Center St., Westminster.

August 24 & 25

YART SALE

The Carroll County Arts Council’s 7th Annual yART Sale is a fundraising event that features previously enjoyed art at yard sale prices.

August 25

Westminster Municipal Band Concert in the Park

The band’s Color Guard will present the colors for the evening. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.

Steam Show Days

Experience antique farm equipment, tractor races, tractor games, consignment sale/auction, flag raising/opening ceremony, saw mill & shingle mill operation, antique truck & car parade, kids pedal pull, threshing & baiting and more!

September 21 & 22

Maryland Wine Festival

Enjoy 150+ wines for sampling, The Maryland Cheese Pavilion, Juried Crafts, Fabulous Food, Live Entertainment and more at The Maryland Wine Festival!

41st Annual Westminster Fallfest

Join the festivities as Fallfest begins with our annual parade along Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in historic downtown Westminster on Thursday evening! Bring your entire family to enjoy the amusement rides. Rides operate through out the weekend. Visit over 80 vendors with a variety of crafts and gifts along with information about local businesses on Saturday and Sunday.

Oktoberfest Celebration and Harvestfest Cornhole Competition

Maryland Microbrewery Festival

The Maryland Microbrewery Festival is the highlight and culminating event of Carroll County Beer Week. This fun-packed festival celebrates and promotes the best of Maryland’s handcrafted and distinctive microbrews. Come join the fun of Maryland’s premier beer festival!
