22nd Annual Festival of Wreaths

A holiday tradition for 22 years with a silent auction of more than 150 uniquely decorated theme wreaths. Come and see all the amazing creatively on display. Vote for your favorite wreaths. Visitors can bid on wreaths as well. Visit www.carrollartscenter.org for more information.

Holiday of Trees, Wreaths & Centerpieces to benefit the Taneytown Heritage & Museum Association

TH&MA is sponsoring the Holiday of Trees, Wreaths & Centerpieces decorating contest, silent auction and holiday celebration. Local Individuals, businesses, and organizations decorate an item in any of the categories and donate all decorated items for a silent auction benefiting the Taneytown History Museum. 5th Annual Gingerbread Village Festival to benefit Human Services Programs

The Gingerbread Village Festival is a gingerbread house building competition to raise awareness about homelessness during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. It is also a fundraiser to help provide opportunities for those experiencing homelessness in our community. There is no cost to attend, but you can buy votes for your favorite house(s).

Miracle on Main Street in Downtown Westminster

Jingle Bell Run at 4:45 p.m. and Miracle on Main Electric Holiday Parade at 5 p.m. followed by the tree lighting ceremony. Santa’s Treat from 6-8:30pm at the Westminster Library.

“A Holiday From The Heart” Seasonal Tour

This year the Farm Museum’s A Holiday From the Heart Seasonal Tour commemorates the 90th anniversary of the Great Depression. Even though this was a difficult time for many Americans, families pulled together what they could to celebrate with the ones they loved during the holiday season. We welcome you to tour the Farmhouse where each room will feature a different thrifty way the holidays were celebrated on a dime. A variety of handmade ornaments will also be on display.

Carroll Singers Presents “Winter Beautiful”

Carroll Singers Presents “Winter Beautiful” performing songs such as: “Winter Wonderland”, “Sleigh Ride”, “White Christmas”, “Rudolph, Frosty and Suzy”.

Carroll County Artists’ Studio Tour

Enjoy a free, family friendly, self-guided tour of 13 art studios and two galleries located around Carroll County. Meet 16 incredibly talented artists and artisans, see demonstrations and have the opportunity to buy fine art and craft directly from the source.

Breakfast with the Delegates Hosted by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce

Find out from local representatives what bills will be presented during the session. This is your opportunity to ask questions and voice concerns.

State of the County
