20th Anniversary Celebration of Taneytown History Museum

Saturday, August 3, 2024, is the 20th anniversary of the museum. Come help us celebrate. See the new exhibit “All Aboard Rails & Tales” and learn about the railroad history of Taneytown. There will be activities for children. Also see the Taneytown Room, learn about some of the local craftsmen of the area and see the door latch/lock from the Adam Good Tavern where George Washington spent the night. Participate in the Scavenger Hunt with a prize for each child completing the search. Also, you will be offered a free raffle ticket for an excursion on the Walkersville Southern Railroad.
The museum will be open from 1:00-4:00 pm. Free admission, free parking, handicap accessible.
