All Aboard Rails & Tales – Taneytown History Museum

2024 featured exhibit at Taneytown History Museum is about when the railroad came to Taneytown in 1872. Information is shared about the local rail lines and displays railroad artifacts. There is a model railroad display. Participate in the new Scavenger Hunt with prizes. Receive a free raffle ticket for an excursion on the Walkersville Southern Railroad. Also see the door latch/lock from the Adam Good Tavern in Taneytown where George Washington spent the night. Handicap accessible. Free parking in back of museum.
