For ages 11 – Adults. A Human Library is a safe space where human “Books” share their stories with “Readers” who attend the event. The human Books are members of our communities who have experienced discrimination or prejudice based on who they are, where they come from, or how they self-identify. At the event, Readers and Books have a 20-minute conversation, asking questions and discussing their shared experiences and differing perspectives. The goal of this event is to create a dialogue and understanding between people in our communities in a safe conversational space to promote unity, diversity, and respect. The Human Library is designed to be a welcoming, inclusive, non-partisan space. Refreshments will be served. Visit site for details.
