The Leister Quartet with David Motter

From the smooth melodies of Sinatra and the Great American Songbook, to the eclectic solos of Monk, with the energy of Setzer, the Leister Quartet will transport you to another place and time with their sophisticated menu of Swing, Jazz and Blues standards as well as smart original compositions. Monte Leister fronts the quartet bringing his decades of musical experience. The fabulous Jay Fenner adds soulful soothing sounds on the tenor saxophone, the prodigy of Johnathan Davis holds down the bottom and the super fine percussion prowess of Jake Fine keeps everything in time. The Leister Quartet continues to keep audiences captivated and coming back for more.
For over 30 years, David Motter , an accomplished jazz trombone player, has helped mold the musical journeys of hundreds of students in the Carroll County area.
