Residential Camp
Join leaders in Carroll County 4-H at Hashawha Environmental Center for an unforgettable summer filled with new friends, exciting adventures and lifelong memories. The Carroll County 4-H Residential Camp offers outdoor fun, creative exploration and teamwork. Campers will enjoy hiking, seining, fishing, archery, crafts, outdoor cooking and daily pool time (weather permitting). The Carroll County Arts Council features camps from June through August. Camps explore theater and arts and crafts projects. All camps will be held in-person at the Carroll Arts Center. Secret Agent Camp

Fairy Tale Pre-Ballet Camp
June 30-July 4 or July 14-18, 9 a.m.-noon, ages 4-6, $195. There’s nothing better than exploring a ballet story theme each week in our Fairy Tale Pre-Ballet Camp. Dancers will begin their day with pre-ballet movement while activating their imagination through reading a book, watching a professional performance, creating costumes and props, and rehearsing for their performance at the end of the week. A snack is provided each day. Families are invited to attend a performance at the week’s end.
Around the World Camp
July 7-11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., ages 5-10, $310. From the joyful rhythms of Latin America to the high-energy beats of Africa, campers will learn about world cultures through music and dance from all around the world. Archaeology
One-day morning camp on June 17 from 9 a.m. to noon for kids in grades K-6. This hands-on history experience lets kids dig deep into the world of archaeology. They’ll explore real excavation techniques, handle authentic artifacts and learn how to piece together the stories of those who came before us.
Artisan
One-day morning camp on July 15 from 9 a.m. to noon for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth. Kids will step into the shoes of historical crafters, learning traditional skills like woodworking, blacksmithing and weaving. Guided by expert artisans, they’ll create handcrafted items while exploring the tools and techniques that shaped our history.
Animal
One-day morning camp on July 29 from 9 a.m. to noon for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth. This fun-filled adventure lets kids meet and care for various friendly farm animals. From feeding the goats to grooming the oxen, campers will get hands-on experience with the daily life of the farm. Through interactive activities and playful learning, children will connect with nature and discover these animals’ important roles.
Adventure
One-day morning camp on Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth. This action-packed program invites kids to explore hidden corners of the museum, solve intriguing puzzles, and go on thrilling treasure hunts. Each activity offers a new quest, where young adventurers will uncover secrets of the past and engage in hands-on activities that bring history to life.

Carroll Indoor Sports Center Camp is tentatively scheduled for June 16-Aug. 23. Early registration (by May 16) is $185 per camper per week with a $20 sibling discount. Regular registration is $225 per camper per week. A $5-per-day deposit is required. Price includes dropoff as early as 7:30 a.m., pickup as late as 5:30 p.m., a hot lunch and an afternoon snack. Ultimate Sports Camps (Coppermine Cascade Park)
June 16-Aug. 15 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for ages 6-11. $325 per week. Ultimate Sports Camps allow campers to engage in high-energy games reinforcing skill fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork and dedication while developing an all-around athlete. FULL MOON FARM
Full Moon Farm Summer Camp is designed for ages 5 to 12, with most campers ages 7-11. Camp dates are June 23-27, July 14-18 and August 11-15. Campers will discover the wonderful world of horses and farm life. Campers enjoy daily riding, horse care lessons, guest speakers, horse-related crafts, nature hikes, games and more. Groups are formed by age and previous riding experience to allow everyone to get the most out of their daily lessons. THE GODDARD SCHOOL OF ELDERSBURG SUMMER PROGRAM

HIGH RIDGE FARM
High Ridge Farm will run three full-day summer horse camp sessions for campers ages 5 to adult, June 23-28, July 7-11 and Aug. 11-15. Campers learn about horses and riding Monday through Thursday. Friday includes family day demonstrations of what campers have learned and concludes with a camp horse show. Campers must pack a lunch and wear long pants and a shoe or boot with a heel. Look for fun games and a daily craft. $425. Space is limited.
High Ridge Farm also offers half-day Farm Camp and half-day Pony Camp June 16-20 and July 14-18 from 9:30 a.m.-noon or 1-3:30 p.m. The cost is $250 each or $425 for both. Bring lunch if doing both camps and staying for the day.
The half-day Farm Camp for ages 3 and older starts with teaching children about chickens and rabbits. There’s a hayride, feeding goats, collecting eggs, caring for chickens, and feeding calves and lambs. Gardening activities include vegetable picking, weeding a garden and a craft. Friday is a show-off day to demonstrate for their family and friends what campers have learned.
The half-day Pony Camp for ages 4 to 12 offers an opportunity to learn about grooming, leading and tying horses and riding daily. Look for games and horse fun. Friday is a show-off day for family and friends.

Nike Girls Basketball Camp

NORTH CARROLL COMMUNITY SCHOOL SUMMER CAMP
North Carroll Community School will hold summer camp Monday through Friday, June 16-Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with before and after care available at additional cost. This is a full-day summer camp for students ages 3 1/2 to 11. Campers experience a fun theme each week as they participate in arts and crafts, outdoor activities, free play, hands-on learning experiences and academic review to prevent the “summer slide.”

RIVER VALLEY RANCH (RVR)
Weekly summer day camps are offered for ages 4-6 and 7-10 at River Valley Ranch’s (RVR) Mountain View campus. This coed program runs Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., from June 17-Aug. 9 and features engaging large group rallies, climbing towers, inflatables, swimming, games, crafts, playground and more.

Outpost Day Camps
For ages 4-10. Monday through Friday camps run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. with extended care options. Enjoy engaging large group rallies with songs and themed activities, climbing towers, inflatables, swimming pool, gaga, crafts, playground, scavenger hunts and an opportunity to ride either RVR’s famous zip line or horseback ride (depending on camper’s age).
Fort Roller Overnight Camps
For ages 7-12. Choose either Classic Camp or Adventure Camp week-long programs. (two-night preview program available for 7- to 9-year-olds). Fort-themed accommodations (bunkhouses, Conestoga wagons and teepees) excite the imagination as kids participate in specially themed events, games, rallies, free time, swimming, meals, carnival party and more each week. Several programs offer a chance to try RVR’s renowned zipline and adventure elements, horses or paintball.
Frontier Town Overnight Camps
For ages 13-17. Choose either Classic Camp or Adventure Camp week-long programs. Campers enjoy a range of activities like bubble ball, capture the flag, archery tag, paintball, horses and ziplines, as well as free time, pool parties, game room, camp store and more. Services with dynamic speakers and engaging music, along with small group discussions prompt character development and growth with quality role models.

TAMI GEE’S STUDIO OF DANCE
Various camp options for girls and boys run July through August for ages 3-teens. Camps and workshops are offered as half and full days. Classes and workshops include ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, musical theater and ACRO. Snacks are provided during camps and workshops. Day Camps
Available for children entering pre-kindergarten through sixth grades. Every day is filled with fun as campers make new friends, create lifelong memories and enjoy exciting summer activities from swimming and archery to gaga ball and more. Activities vary by camp location.
Counselor in Training (CIT) Leadership Day Camp
Available for teens entering ninth and 10th grades. CIT Day Camp is designed to help teens develop leadership, character and the skills needed to work with youth. Participants are encouraged to participate for a minimum of three weeks and will complete an interview process after registration.
Teen Adventure Camps
For teens entering seventh through ninth grades. Teen Adventure Camp is a summer experience to remember. Teens will work on a group project throughout their time at camp, where they will be exposed to workforce skills, financial literacy principles and understanding the value of community service. Daily activities include on-site games, crafts, swimming and more. Field trips may include sporting events, zoos, parks, amusement attractions and other fun getaways.
Specialty Camps
For children entering first through sixth grades. Specialty camps give campers the opportunity to spend their camp day doing what they love most in our full-day specialty camps. Camp options include Spy School, Mad Scientist, Fun-gineering, Li’l Chefs, Art Mix, Sports and Swim.
Overnight Camps
Available for children entering third through 10th grades. When children are away from home, they learn how to trust themselves more as they expand their horizons and find their sense of wonder and adventure. Enjoy campfires and s’mores, outdoor pools, dance parties, archery, hiking, nature studies and more. Overnight camp is available at Camp Hashawha in Carroll County and Camp Puh’tok in the Pines (for children entering second through 11th grades) in Monkton, Baltimore County.
Y Camp
June 16-Aug. 15, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., with free morning or afternoon extended camp hours (from 7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.). Y Camp in Carroll County includes Camp Hashawha Overnight Camp and Y Camp at the Hill Y in Westminster. Camps are co-ed. Various options are available for campers entering pre-kindergarten through grade 10. Camp dates and options may vary by location. YOUNG LIFE
Young Life camps are available this summer for high schoolers, adolescents with disabilities, adolescent moms, families and adults. Young Life camping is full of high adventure, crazy fun and incredible food. Campers are treated to resort-quality facilities as they escape from the pressures of everyday life, have fun with friends and their Young Life leaders and hear the message of God’s love in terms they can understand. Young Life camping promises to be filled with lasting memories and life-changing moments.
