Carroll Hospice’s signature fundraising event, Taste of Carroll, drew a record number of participants who contributed to an anticipated $100,000-plus raised, according to Jill Rosner, event chair.
The May 11 event, held at Antrim 1844 Country House Hotel in Taneytown, included a reception attended by special guests U.S. Senator Ben Cardin and his wife, Myrna Edelman Cardin, and Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh.
“The cause trumps every reason why this event is so great,” said Westminster resident Greg Linard. “Hospice touches so many people’s lives at an important, tough time. That is why we are here and why we come to this event year after year.”
