Carroll Singers Presents “Love Is in the Air”

The concert features a collection of heartwarming love songs from artists like Bruno Mars, Amy Grant, Billy Joel, Elton John, Carol King and more. Experience an evening of music celebrating not only romantic love, but also the love we have for our friends and family. Experience the days surrounding Lee’s Second Invasion of the North, when small towns in Carroll County — including Union Mills — saw the movement of both Union and Confederate armies, supply wagons, stragglers and wounded soldiers. The Cow will once again provide ice cream. Representatives from many Carroll County historical societies and sites will attend, and guests may participate in a cake walk. Enjoy an old-fashioned meal featuring corn roasted in the husk. The meal ticket includes fried chicken, applesauce, sliced tomatoes, a roll and butter, iced tea or lemonade, and all the roasted corn you can eat. As an outdoors event in the tradition of picnics and “frolics” held at the site in times gone by, the festival features live entertainment and site tours.
