It was standing room only at the Carroll Arts Center on Saturday, February 28, and talent hit the stage for the City of Westminster Recreation and Parks Department’s annual Westminster’s Got Talent competition.
Westminster resident Malachi Dawkins captured the evening’s overall win after he belted out “All of Me.” “His stage presence grabbed the audience’s attention and had everyone clapping and cheering along,” said Robin Cherney, Recreation Program Coordinator. “I truly am thankful for the Arts Center for supporting this event as well as the judges, who had a difficult time making a decision.” – by Lisa Moody Breslin, photography by Kelly Heck
