Presented by John Laycock. Norman Bruce was an immigrant, prominent landowner, businessman, soldier, politician, husband and father. He founded Bruceville, where the home he built, Myrtle Hill, still stands. John is currently working to place a roadside marker commemorating a Revolutionary War era encampment in Carroll County.
