Here is a list of summer camps available in Carroll County. It is not too soon to sign up.
ABC CARE INC.

Cascade Lake Water Camp Ages 5-13 (K-8). Optional swimming lessons one, two or three times a week. Mondays will be a field trip and sports day. North Westminster Location
ABC Care Explorer Camp Ages 5-8 (K-2). This camp will take two field trips per week as well as enrichment activities, arts and crafts and sign language, include Wacky Wednesday special events for both camps. Optional third field trip will be available on various weeks.
ABC Care Adventure Camp Ages 8-11 (grades 3-5). This camp will take three field trips per week as well as enrichment activities, arts and crafts and sign language.
South Westminster Location
ABC Care Deer Park Swim Camp Ages 5-11 (grades K-5). This is a swim camp with swim lessons two times per week, lake swimming three times a week, pool swimming one time per week, Splash Zone daily, nature activities, sports activities and arts and crafts. ABC Care Amazing Race Camp Selected weeks only during the summer. Ages 11-13 (grades 6-8). Daily field trips to locations centered around a theme with activities geared towards older children.

CARROLL COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL SUMMER ARTS CAMP
All camps are held at the Carroll Arts Center in downtown Westminster. Explore all aspects of the arts, from theater to arts and crafts projects. Arts Adventures Ages 8-12, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. daily. Camp Director is Susan Williamson. Full day of arts and crafts and cultural activities. Campers will spend the week drawing, painting and crafting; visit local art galleries and try out some handmade game crafts in local parks.
Fun Company Theatre Camp Ages 8-12. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. daily. Camp Director: Julie Herber, Maryland Ensemble Theatre. Activities pertain to all aspects of the theatre, from making props and designing costumes to learning to use technical equipment with lights and microphones. Improv games and drama exercises will help prepare actors for the “big show” that will take place Friday night on the Art Center’s stage.
Creative Kids Camp Ages 5-8, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Camp Director: Sandy Oxx. Campers enjoy sing-alongs, arts and crafts, drama games, special guests, movies and gallery activities. Popsicles, face-painting and walks to the park round out a week of fun, culminating in a performance for parents, as well as the “premiere” of the camp movie. A DVD is sent home with each camper.

CARROLL COUNTY FARM MUSEUM LIVING HISTORY CAMP
July 8-12, Grade 3; July 15-19, Grade 4; July 22-26, Grade 5. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Children will experience some of the skills that were necessary for rural farm life 150 years ago. Camp T.R. Weekend Overnight Experience May 31-June 2. Ages 7-15. Free.
