The Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks celebrates its 40th anniversary this year with a number of special events, including a monthly photo contest, a July “Park Pursuit” game offering prizes to park visitors, a video chronicling the department’s history, a “Volunteer of the Year” award on October 7 and a crab feast on October 8.
