Carroll County Arts Council announces second annual “yART SALE”
The Carroll County Arts Council will host its second annual “yART Sale,” on Saturday August 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature “previously enjoyed” artwork, frames, and art books sold at bargain basement prices. “Saving Mr. Banks” to be screened at the Carroll Arts Center
Film Lovers in Carroll County (FLICC) has chosen the 2013 comedy-drama “Saving Mr. Banks” to be screened at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, August 15 at 7:30 pm.
Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson bring to life the untold true story about the origins of one of the most treasured Disney classics of all time. John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) directs this acclaimed film that reveals the surprising backstory behind the making of “Mary Poppins”. Sponsored by Maggie’s Restaurant, “Saving Mr. Banks” runs 125 minutes and is rated PG-13. Tickets are $6 for Adults and $5 for CCAC Members, 18 & Under, and Seniors 60+.
