Barleyjuice Returns
The Celtic-Rock band, Barleyjuice, returns to the Carroll Arts Center for two live concerts on Friday March 21 and Saturday March 22 at 8 p.m.The performance is sponsored by Westminster dentist Dr. Patrick Gallagher. The Teelin Irish Dance Company returns to the Carroll Arts Council
for live performances on Saturday, March 15, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $13 for Adults and $11 for CCAC members, 18 and under, and seniors 60 and over. The performances are sponsored by Manchester Family Medicine.

The Pennsylvania Opry brings the music of the Western movie era to the Carroll Arts Center March 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for CCAC members, 18 and under, and seniors 60 and over.

Film Lovers in Carroll County will screen “Life of Pi” at the Carroll Arts Center on Friday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel, Life of Pi is the winner of four Academy Awards, including Best Director. The 2012 film runs 127 minutes and is rated PG. Tickets are $6 for Adults and $5 for CCAC members, 18 and under, and seniors 60 and over.

Singers Behind The Stars
Film Lovers in Carroll County (FLICC) has chosen “Twenty Feet From Stardom” for screening at the Carroll Arts Center on Thursday, February 27 at 7 p.m. “Twenty Feet From Stardom” shines a spotlight on the untold story of the backup singers behind some of the greatest musical legends of the 21st century, offering intimate interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger and Sting among others. The 2013 film runs 91 minutes and is rated PG-13.Tickets are $6 for Adults and $5 for CCAC members, 18 and under, and seniors 60 and over. Available online or at the box office.

The Gettysburg Big Band swings into the Carroll Arts Center on Sunday, February 16 (snow date is February 23) at 3 p.m. The band, comprising 17 musicians from the Gettysburg area, performs music of the 1930s and Ô50s. Tickets for the concert will be $14 for adults and $12 for CCAC members, 18 and under, and seniors 60 and over.

The United States Air Force Heritage Ramblers bring New Orleans Dixie and their Chicago-style jazz to the Carroll Arts Center on Tuesday, February 11, at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public, but advance tickets are required. Tickets can be picked up at the Arts Center box office, 91 West Main St., Westminster, MD 21157 or by reserving tickets online at www.CarrollCountyArtsCouncil.org. Limit four per household.

Film Lovers in Carroll County (FLICC) has chosen four films for the 11th Annual Foreign Film Festival. The films will be screened at the Carroll Arts Center on Fridays in February. There will be two screenings of each film at 1 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for CCAC members, 18 and under, and seniors 60 and over. Discounts are offered for purchasing tickets for the entire series. McDaniel College is sponsoring the series, so McDaniel students and faculty are admitted free with ID. All films are shown with English subtitles. The series is as follows:
